Bonjour!
We are Tristan and Maud. In June 2025, we moved from Maassluis in the Netherlands to here, to the small village (or 'lieu-dit') of Guillerin, together with our two children, Bob (2020) and Juli (2022).
Here, amidst the nature of the Corrèze, we are building L’Ours Sans Bagages step by step: a small, characterful nature campsite where outdoor living, outdoor play, and Burgundian enjoyment come together.
Our spot is located in a quiet valley between the forests of the Corrèze and the Creuse. It is one of the most sparsely populated regions of Northwest Europe, where the nights are still truly dark and the starry sky is impressively clear. During the day, you can walk straight into the forest and discover streams, lakes, and small, authentic villages such as Felletin, Meymac, and Aubusson.
We are a small-scale campsite with beautiful, spacious pitches. We have about ten of them: 2 spacious, atmospheric tipis, 1 large tent trailer for 5 or 6 people, and a number of available camping spots.
Plenty of space, time, and attention for each other, nature, and for enjoying ourselves.

Outdoor play
Our 4-hectare grounds are one big place of discovery, featuring about 2 hectares of adventure forest where something new emerges every week.
Here, imagination and adventure naturally have room to flourish, in the sand, among the trees, by the pond, or in the bushes.
Building huts.
Tracking animal footprints.
Spotting insects.
Climbing, swinging, and hiding.
Racing across the ParcOurs or poking in the mud with a stick—the best thing there is.
We are building a natural play paradise step by step—for our own children, but now also for our little guests.
Hours fly by here without anyone looking at the clock; total relaxation.
Enjoying the good life
In the late afternoon, a wonderful aroma fills our campsite. A wood fire, herbs, something simmering.
That scent naturally draws you to the Tasting Square, where Tristan is cooking three times a week, right in the middle of the outdoors.
